Beach grasses don't mind the chill

Cypress Point Park was cool and breezy in the late afternoon but there were folks walking on the sand and waiting for the sunset.

Beach grasses have to be tough to survive!

Hope that it warmed up for you a bit today. We got up to about 60 and it is supposed to be in the 70s again in a few days.

Methinks there is a chance we'll thaw out eventually!

Nice photo of beach grasses. And at least in the Tampa area the sun will set over the water, unlike the other coast of Florida.

Beautiful photo--the grasses look like they should be soft--but I imagine they are tougher than they look!

Here in Oregon you can find people barefoot in the sand when it is snowing and 30 degrees outside.

We're wierd over here...
