Both he and I never tire of shellfish.
What a gorgeous shot! I LOVE him. Our herons are most likely bundled up against the cold, settled in the rustling brown rushes.
Wonderful bird, caught in action...We both posted herons today, but I am so ignorant that I didn't know the bird and had to ask for help!
Tip-toeing is right, if you've ever cut your foot on an oyster shell like me! That is a beautiful bird.
