This is the view of Tampa's downtown looking south across the Hillsborough River from Plant Park toward the Kennedy Street Bridge (originally the Lafayette Street Bridge).

Absolutely a beautiful shot! The green grass against the more muted colors of the buildings makes the shot a work of art!

Thanks all for your kind comments. The riverfront is gorgeous and so, so lazy and relaxing.

JACOB: I appreciate your comment about my third Tampa blog and especially for understanding why I had to make the decision to cease posting at Tampa Bay Daily Photos. I agonized over it for a while. It became like a much loved child that couldn't seem to take flight and leave its nest. I over-reached and realized it. Keeping two sites exclusively about Tampa is still a challenge and one I will wrestle with. They may each take on a new and separate focus. But I know I will never run out of things to post about this city.

Thank you for your comment. I respect you for all the work you put into your terrific sites. It ain't easy and my hat is off to you, Sir.

Frank, I want to thank you for all the sensitive comments you have made on my Journal...very kind. Hope all is well with Dr. Porter.

Frank, simply put, I like it a bunch. The green green grass looks like the place to lay back and take it easy while the people in the big buildings work their butts off.

This is a beautiful shot. I'm wondering, Frank, if that is a pedestrian bridge going across the water.
