Monochrome: Tampa Police and their narrow getaway

This narrow yet very attractive and inviting respite is like a vertical park between the Tampa Police headquarters in downtown Tampa and the parking garage located just to its south. I would never have imagined that this place existed.

Thanks for this challenge each week of seeing our world in black, white and shades of gray.

How to make the most out of a little . . . yeah Tampa. This works beautifully in monochrome. I's go back and work with those lights and their shadows.

Thank yoy for your comment! The object in my picture is a detail of a doorway. I think it looks a bit like a corkscrew.

What an impressive picture and an impressive place.

How clever it is that such calm has been crammed between these overpowering, overwhelming and claustrophic making buildings.

The one who made this place is definitely a public benefactor . . . or is it you who have created this atmosphere in your picture.

Either way, it is a stick-in-the-memory image.

I'd normally look for a setting like this in a night/low light shot. Very unique to see it bright and cheerful. Nicely turned!
