Wow! That is some round building. What a beautiful photo. I love the black and white--contrasts. It has a feeling that brings a smile to my face.

Methinks your b&w's are getting better and better, also! That roundhouse is quite a building...do you know what it contains?

@ Jacob - The round-shaped Rivergate Tower is now named for Sykes Enterprises. It used to house a very large law firm, Holland & Knight, but they have moved to another office tower. (I had a meeting in this tower on Sept. 11, 2001...a very interesting "meeting" as it turned out.) Malio's Steakhouse, a pretty good place to eat, is now located on the ground floor on the river side. Spaces inside is very modern and some oddly shaped at the walls.

Here is a write-up about the name change: "Downtown Tampa's Rivergate Tower office building is getting a new brand at the top for the first time in its 18-year history.

Sykes Enterprises Inc. will install its name atop the 31-story cylindrical structure over the coming week, with signage being placed on its north and south sides, a company spokeswoman said Thursday. ... Sykes (Nasdaq: SYKE) moved into the building in 2002, signing a lease for nearly 67,700 square feet in four of the top five floors. ... Sykes is a customer contact outsourcing company with more than 17,000 employees worldwide, including 170 at its Tampa headquarters....
Rivergate Tower, known as NCNB Plaza when it opened in 1988, was purchased by Miami-based America's Capital Partners for $35.5 million in January 2005. Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. is marketing available office space in the building, and Malio's Steak House plans to reopen on the ground floor this fall."
