Tampa's Getting Ready for Christmas

I especially liked this house all decorated for Christmas because of the lighting on their palm trees. No snow on the ground, but lots of bright, white lights to guide the sleigh.

People in our neighborhood go all out decorating their houses. I've always wondered how much extra money they pay the electric company for the privilege...

It really does look Christmasy! All you need now is some of that movie snow...

That really is beautiful. Snow or not, I like it.

Now those are lights! The house looks like many of the new big homes around here. They are all so beautiful, but I can't help thinking that three families could live in that much space.

I've never seen a Christmas palm tree before - it's beautiful. Strange, to a northern European, but beautiful.

I have always thought lights on a Palm Tree are more than beautiful. To see the fronds moving in the wind with the lights, spectacular.

How pretty! Sometimes I think the warmer it is the more we go overboard decorating to make up for the lack of snow.

Hi, Frank! Thanks for your nice comment on my blog today.

I'm sick today, and would really love to see some holiday lights like this outside my window. :(

I officially cant hold out for this smart phone, just 2 days remaining and I simply hope I could get my hands on one,. I have been reading a lot about the Android two.2 update that can come in August, simply another reason to be psyched about this excellent phone. Motorola and Verizon say they will update the phone to Android 2.2 late summer. It will certainly be an over-the-air update. However out-of-the box on its July 15 launch it will probably have Android 2.1.
