A day to relax and take in the calming waters of Tampa Bay by savoring a cold, frothy Guinness Extra and chilled Pinot Grigio. The jumbo fried Gulf shrimp and just caught Mahi Mahi are being prepared and we're unwinding and enjoying each other's company. Soul mates sharing a long life and a delightful day together. Whether we're celebrating a special day or just taking it easy on a perfect Florida afternoon, we are lovin' the view and breeze off the open water.

Everything is perfect, except I would rather have a Turbo Dog from Abita.

A memorable trip to Accra, Ghana a year ago introduced me to Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, an incredible beer that I can't get in the USA.
I'll try to find Turbo Dog.

Frank, you have some really good photos on this blog!. I'll have to tell my neighbor who likes to visit the Tampa area. I like food and drink photos. Now I have to go to buy some Guinness!

I've made two visits to Colorado Springs. Both very cool. Beautiful scenery. One included a tour of the Air Force Academy, NORAD and Cheyenne Mountain and the one last year in October was for several days arranging a big event at the Sky Sox stadium. Nice people and really magnificent photos everywhere I pointed my camera.

OK..OK I'm determined to drink a Turbodog within 24 hours. It may (or may not) rival my Guiness Foreign Extra but I am more than willing to try (a few) for scientific sampling purposes only. Here's the online description: "Turbodog is a dark brown ale brewed with Willamette hops and a combination of pale, crystal and chocolate malts. This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate toffee-like flavor." Sounds very good.
